Catholic or public school? Co-ed or single sex school?

I just want to know ppl's opinions on which they think is better and why?

I am in a class called Women's Psychology and Literature and are learning about the different types of school environment and how this affects the student.
I go to a catholic single-sex school. Personally i think i have grown more maturely and education wise because of this. I hav never attended a public school and am curios as to which people think is better. Also what type of environments are better for a student.
